We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs to produce high-precision components. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with Fanuc controls, and experience with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks. The CNC Programmer will collaborate closely with machinists and engineers to ensure efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write CNC programs for milling machines, lathes, and CNC lathe equipment using Fanuc controls.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to create accurate machining instructions.
  • Utilize CAD software like SolidWorks and other CAD/CAM tools to design and modify parts and tooling.
  • Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, ensuring proper operation.
  • Perform machine troubleshooting, adjustments, and fine-tuning to optimize machining processes.
  • Conduct inspections using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to verify part dimensions against specifications.
  • Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and process improvements in compliance with manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with team members on lean manufacturing initiatives, assembly processes, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Operate power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and hand tools as needed for machine setup or maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in CNC programming with Fanuc controls in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in machining, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools like calipers.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar design tools; experience with CAD/CAM programming is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of machining processes including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and manual hand tools.
  • Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques and assembly processes is a plus.
  • Experience operating forklifts and power tools is advantageous.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and quality in production workflows.
